About Wildwalks
Wildwalks is an online bushwalking guide providing detailed track notes, maps and photos for bushwalking and hiking trails across NSW, Australia.
Our mission is to help people discover and enjoy the amazing walking trails in New South Wales. We believe that getting outdoors and into nature is one of the best things you can do for your physical and mental wellbeing.
What We Provide

- Interactive Maps — Vector maps showing the walking route, key landmarks, and points of interest
- Terrain Profiles — Cross-sectional elevation charts so you know what to expect
- Grade Information — Every walk is graded according to the Australian Standard (AS 2156.1–2001)
- Transport Information — How to get to and from each walk by car, train, bus, or ferry
- Photo Galleries — Images from along the track so you know what you’ll see
- PDF Downloads — Print-friendly maps and track notes to take with you
Our Grading System
All walks are graded using the Australian Standard for Walking Tracks (AS 2156.1–2001). This considers gradient, track quality, signage, experience required, weather exposure, and infrastructure.
The Bushwalk App
Many of our walks are also available on the Bushwalk app, which provides offline maps, GPS tracking, and journey recording.
