This very pleasant walk starts from the Katoomba Falls Park. The walk explores the cliffs and dense vegetation in the area, and enters the Blue Mountains National Park to enjoy the views from the Cliff View Lookout. The lookout provides stunning views up the Kedumba Valley. The walk is well signposted, has handrails and fencing. The walk passes under the skyway just below the eastern station. An easy walk with spectacular views.

The Katoomba Falls Picnic area and park is found at the corner of 'Katoomba Falls Rd' and 'Cliff Dr', Katoomba. The south and western edge of the park is lined with a fence protecting the small Kedumba River, just above Katoomba Cascades. There is a fenced (1.2m high[1]) viewing platform at the top of the cascades, [2] and a smooth/flat conrete footpath leading to it[3]. The park is also home to a series of 8 picnic tables. There is a car parkfor around 17 cars on Cliff Dr, as well as a separate signposted mobility parking bayat the south-eastern corner of the park. A pleasant picnic area.

From the intersection (by the signposted mobility parking bayon Cliff Drive, about 120m from Katoomba Falls Road), this walk follows the 'Cliff View Lookout 10 mins' sign gently uphill[4] along the stenciled concrete path (with handrails on the right) for about 60m. This walk then meanders along the path gently downhill[5] for about 45m to come to a start of the second handrail(on the left)[6] where this walk becomes a bit steeper downhill. After about 60m this walk flattens[7] and continues gently uphill for about 80m to come to a 3-way intersection[8] with the 'Skyway East Station' staircase[9] (on the left).
Continue straight: From the intersection[10], this walk follows the stenciled concrete path keeping the handrails on the right, almost immediately passing under the cables of the 'Skyway' cable car[11]. This walk continues for about 40m and goes up and over a gentle rise to come to a concrete platform[12] marked by the 'Cliff View Lookout' sign on the fence[13].

Cliff View Lookout
This large, fenced wheelchair accessible lookout provides great mountain views[14] of Mt Solitary[15], Kedumba Valley, Narrow Neck[16] and across to Scenic World[17]. There's a bench seatat the back of the lookout to enjoy the views from. The lookout fence is 1.2m high, the platform is 7.8x5.5m wide.

Attracting over 3 million visitors annually, Blue Mountains National Park holds some of Australia's most spectacular and diverse wilderness areas.
