Great North Walk

The Great North Walk is one of the best known long distance walks in NSW. The track was formally established in 1988 as a bicentennial project and is now managed by the NSW Lands Department.

The walk stretches from the City of Sydney to Newcastle. You will walk through a variety of environments from public roads, National Parks, State Forests, and private farm land. The walk is generally well signposted and follows a clear and maintained track.
